Amir Katz is a pianist of Israeli and German heritage, whose musical journey commenced at the age of 11 when he first began playing the piano. His talent was quickly recognized, as he went on to win national competitions in Israel just four years later. This early success paved the way for him to further his studies in Europe, facilitated by scholarships that enabled him to hone his craft under the guidance of esteemed mentors.
Katz's educational pursuits took him to the prestigious International Piano Foundation at Lake Como, where he had the opportunity to learn from renowned pianists such as Leon Fleisher, Karl Ulrich Schnabel, and Murray Perahia. Ultimately, his studies concluded in Munich, Germany, under the tutelage of Elisso Wirssaladse and Michael Schäfer. Through his rigorous training and exposure to diverse musical influences, Katz has established himself as a skilled pianist with a strong foundation in classical music.
