Avraham Sinai

Avraham Sinai, formerly known as Ibrahim Yassin, is a notable figure in the realm of activism, having undergone a significant transformation in his life. Born into a Shia Islamic family, he was initially affiliated with the Lebanese organization Hezbollah. However, his allegiance shifted, and he made the decision to spy on behalf of Israel. This marked a pivotal turn in his life, ultimately leading him to flee his native Lebanon.

In 1997, Sinai relocated to Israel, where he embarked on a new path. He converted to Orthodox Judaism, abandoning his former Shia Islamic faith. Following his conversion, he adopted the name Avraham Sinai and settled in the city of Safed, Israel. Sinai's extraordinary journey, which involved a change in both his nationality and faith, has rendered him a fascinating subject of study in the context of activism and espionage.
