Chaim Tzvi Schneerson

Old Yishuv Zionist (1834–1882)

Chaim Tzvi Schneerson was a prominent figure in the Old Yishuv, a community of Jewish settlers in the Land of Israel. Born in 1834, he was a Jewish-Belarusian Zionist who dedicated his life to activism, working tirelessly to promote the interests of his community. As a member of the Chabad Chasidic movement, Schneerson's beliefs and values were deeply rooted in his faith, guiding his actions and decisions as an advocate for the Jewish people.
