Evgeny Mogilevsky

Evgeny Mogilevsky was a renowned Russian pianist, born in 1945 and passed away in 2023. His early musical education began under the guidance of his mother, Seraphima Mogilevsky, at the Stolyarsky Music school in Odesa, Ukraine, where he spent his formative years honing his piano skills.

Mogilevsky further refined his craft at the prestigious Moscow Conservatory, where he was fortunate to study with esteemed instructors Heinrich Neuhaus and Yakov Zak. As a family man, he also played a significant role in nurturing the musical talents of his sons, Maxim and Alexander Mogilevsky, both of whom went on to become accomplished pianists in their own right. Throughout his life, Evgeny Mogilevsky dedicated himself to the world of music, leaving a lasting legacy as a pianist and a mentor.
