Johnny Haymer

Johnny Haymer was an American actor born in 1920. He is best known for his recurring role as Staff Sergeant Zelmo Zale in the television series M*A*S*H. Haymer's career in film and television spanned multiple decades, during which he appeared in various notable shows. In 1965, he guest-starred in an episode of The Cara Williams Show, and in 1968, he played the role of Moriarty, a crooked fight promoter, in an episode of The Wild Wild West.

Haymer's work also included voice acting and announcing. He provided voices for several characters in The Transformers, including Swindle, Vortex, Highbrow, and Caliburst, in the mid-1980s. Additionally, he worked as an announcer for the game show Your Number's Up, hosted by Nipsey Russell. Haymer also had roles in other notable series, such as Star Trek and Madame's Place, where he played Walter Pinkerton from 1982 to 1983. He passed away in 1989, leaving behind a legacy of contributions to the world of film and television.
