Michael Applebaum

Michael Applebaum is a Canadian politician who had a brief tenure as the interim mayor of Montreal. He was appointed to this position by the city council on November 16, 2012, but his time in office was cut short when he resigned on June 18, 2013. Prior to his mayoral appointment, Applebaum served as the borough mayor of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, a position he held from 2006 to 2012.
