Pedro Yanowitz

Pedro Yanowitz is a multifaceted American musician, songwriter, and visual artist. His musical career has been marked by collaborations with a diverse range of artists, including stints as the original drummer for The Wallflowers and Natalie Merchant, with whom he worked on her first three solo records. Yanowitz has also played drums for notable artists such as Money Mark, Yoko Ono, Allen Ginsberg, and Wilco, showcasing his versatility and adaptability as a musician.
In addition to his work as a drummer, Yanowitz has explored other creative pursuits, including playing bass and producing music for the band Morningwood, which he co-founded. He is currently the drummer for Exclamation Pony, a project he shares with Ryan Jarman. Yanowitz has also made appearances in the Broadway musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch, performing as the drummer 'Schlatko', and is a member of the three-man band Princess Goes, alongside vocalist Michael C.
