Sarah Stroumsa is a renowned Israeli scholar born in 1950, specializing in the field of history. Her academic background is rooted in prestigious institutions, including the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she pursued her education, and the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris. This foundational knowledge has contributed to her expertise in Arabic studies.
Throughout her distinguished career, Stroumsa has held various esteemed positions at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has taught in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature and the Department of Jewish Thought, demonstrating her breadth of knowledge.
